The Unrivalled games revitalized the WNBA matchups fans were eager to see. In a one-on-one format, Chelsea Gray showcased her elite plays, winning the final against Allisha Gray. While Chelsea Gray leads the Unrivaled MVP race with her recent performances, another player making news is Kelsey Plum.
The former Aces star is leading the top team in scoring and assists, making her team a strong contender for the season. In her final regular-season game in the ongoing competition, the player was against the defending Defensive Player of the Year winner, Angel Reese, and the talented guard spoke about her experience.

Kelsey Plum Talks About Playing Against Angel Reese
The Rose BC welcomed Sky forward after the player missed the opening period of season 2. Renee Montgomery thinks Angel Reese is exactly what the Rose BC needs to save their season. Her performances proved the Atlanta Dream co-owner right as the Rose BC returned to the playoffs after struggling in the middle phase of the season.
But Phantom BC was their tough challenge, and so was Reese to Plum. In the post-game interview, KP spoke about playing against the Sky forward and said, “I love playing against Angel, I love playing against great players, she had the ball, she was about to give it up but I said ‘no no no’ just keep it, let’s do this’,”

The star referred to an incident where the duo went one-on-one under the post and hilariously explained the situation, calling herself a featherweight player and Reese a powerful star. “I love to engage with the fans. I think it’s fun. This is entertainment at the end of the day,” she added.

Both teams provided an entertaining aspect of the game, and fans even got to see a one-on-one battle between KP and AR5. On the night, though, it was Plum who had the last laugh with a game-winner over Lexie Hull and Angel Reese.
Kelsey Plum Keeps Phantom BC’s Winning Streak Alive
In the Unrivaled power ranking, the Laces BC and Mist BC had a slight edge over the rest of the league with their depth and number of two-way players on the roster. Phantom BC were dark horses, whose fate relied on the performances of their two power-packed stars.
But from the second half of the season, the team defeated every opponent, setting a six-game winning run in the season. While the 12-point deficit in the first half looked like a tough task for the Phantom BC, especially with the coach looking to give its bench players more game time, their streak was in danger.

KP, though, exploded with a 35-point outing, shooting nearly 50% from the field and six-of-12 from the range to keep the streak alive. Behind KP and AB, the Phantom BC is a strong contender for the title for sure.
