Kylie Kelce has always been upfront about her love for Philly sports, cheering on the Eagles with the same fire that fuels her family life. But lately, Kylie has turned her attention to the WNBA, especially with the league’s explosive growth pulling in new fans left and right.
As a mom to four girls, she sees the potential for women’s basketball to inspire the next generation right in her backyard. However, as the WNBA is on a surge, some of the big names around the sports world are getting passionate about owning a piece as the market heads upwards and onwards.

While the season is moving towards an exciting playoff, the top eight teams are more than ready to live up to the expectations. Although people who do not have an active investment in the WNBA are also setting their eyes keenly on the league.

Recently, during her latest chat on her podcast, former NFL star Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie brought it all to light. She threw out a fun yet serious offer to chip in on Philadelphia’s new WNBA franchise set to hit the court in 2030.
“I have talked about wanting to invest myself. You let me know. I’ll bring a bag of nickels. I am so excited about it and I am so grateful to you and your wife and the other individuals who were advocating for it here because I truly think Philadelphia has been for it for a long time,” she said.

Kylie Kelce Wants Equal Pay For WNBA Players
While many would find this a little too unobvious for a former football superstar’s wife taking an interest in the WNBA, this isn’t the first time Kylie has floated the idea. During one of the episodes of her podcast around June-July, along with guest Dawn Staley, the legendary South Carolina coach, she backed the idea of owning a Philly team.
As a former field hockey player and high school coach, Kylie gets the barriers women face in sports, and her pitch aligns with the $269 million expansion fee. She even tossed out name ideas, dreaming of a squad that could thrive in the city’s electric atmosphere.
Similarly, when WNBA players were protesting against a pay disparity as compared to the men’s basketball league, the NBA, the ex-NFL star’s wife allegedly dropped an f-bomb. She gave her full support to Clark and other league stars donning a protesting t-shirt.
