Paige Bueckers became a Texas girl in just one season, starting with the day she wore a cowboy hat at her introductory press conference. The player not only lived up to fans’ expectations by delivering on the basketball floor but also expanded her fanbase with her attendance at the Dallas franchise. She attended every football and basketball game.
While attending the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Washington Commanders, Bueckers stole the show with her long pass. Though it was late in October 2025, the reference came back as praise for the Wings’ guard.

Kylie Kelce Lauded Paige Bueckers’ Football Skills
The 2025 rookie was on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, Not Gonna Lie, where she spoke about UConn, Wings, and the Unrivaled league, too. The topic went off the basketball as Kelce brought in the viral clip of PB’s cannon throw.
“You’re joking, that’s a cannon,” Kelce said. “I’ll tell you a cheat code for a larger football is get out the back side of the laces.” Bueckers throw went viral with its trajectory and distance.
“I mean, I’m an athlete. … I wouldn’t expect people to think I knew how to throw a football, but I can just throw a football,” Bueckers responded.

Kelce concluded the topic and said, “All right, guys, set the record straight. Paige can throw a f**king football. Get with it.”
While Caitlin Clark recently won over fans by showcasing her quarterback skills during practice, her name came up on the podcast when Kelce asked about the feeling of playing alongside the Fever guard.
Paige Bueckers Talks About Playing With Caitlin Clark
PB and CC entered the USA basketball training camp together, and the world went crazy with the possibility of watching them play together. Kelce asked for Bueckers’ feelings as there are constant comparisons between the two megastars.
“Me and Caitlin played together at the junior Olympic level when were young girls. It was always a fun time. We all really played well together. I still feel like we were the best U16 or U17 team ever existed,” Bueckers said.

“It’s crazy, because everyone is pinning me and Caitlin against each other for the longest time. We are cool, like we are friends, but again it’s in respect to the competition. So we understand that. At the same time, to have two fanbases that really hate each other have to come together for a couple of months, so it will be really fun,” She added.
While they are still in their early 20s and have at least a decade of basketball within them, Team USA expects to continue its domination for the next decade.
