The 2024 Rookie of the Year had a loud welcome in her recent NFL appearance. Spotting Clark on the big screen, the NFL fan went nuts. However, the WNBA star went viral for a completely different incident that unfolded later. As a gesture of honor, the Colts invited several Fever players and presented them with a customized team jersey. Interestingly, while most of her teammates put it on, Clark refrained from doing so. Such a gesture from the WNBA star sparked rumors. And it was pretty evident that Clark did not wear the Colts’ colors simply because of her allegiance to the Chiefs. And this was something that impressed Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce.
Speaking in an episode of ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast, Kelce stated, “Speaking of the WNBA, I’ve just been given yet another reason to be a fan of Caitlin Clark. Here’s the deal. Very kind of the Colts organization to give a customized jersey. This is customary. I’ve seen it happen to my husband many times. I co-signed this decision very hard. I think that Caitlin nailed this. I think that when you are raised a diehard fan of a team, this is the only appropriate response to being given a jersey of another team.”
Kelce also pointed out that her husband, Jason, too, had been in similar situations. While he played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason chose not to wear jerseys of opposing teams. Now then, as much as Clark is earning praise, all is not well with the WNBA icon.

Rachel DeMita Wants Caitlin Clark To Embrace The ‘Villain’
In recent times, the WNBA has been facing significant turmoil. With Napheesa Collier lashing out at the commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, the situation has been quite tense. She accused Engelbert of a lack of accountability and called the WNBA leadership ‘worst.’ To further add to the drama, Engelbert’s comments towards Clark also sparked heavy rumors. Thus, with so much negativity going around the Fever star, Rachel DeMita recently asked Clark to turn villain.
“Her name gets used so much in so many different ways, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind at this point if Caitlin just started her villain arc,” DeMita said. “She needs to start putting her foot down because some of this stuff is getting a little wild… People are using her name for their hidden agendas on both sides,” said DeMita.
