The Kelce family and Caitlin Clark have a close bond, due to their professional success and CC’s love for the Kansas City Chiefs. She appeared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast of the Kelce brothers, where they talked about basketball and football.
But on a podcast of another family member, Kylie Kelce, hosted Paige Bueckers, where she tried to add the 2025 rookie to the newly added expansion team in Philadelphia.
Importantly, Kylie and Clark share a good bond. She even lauded Clark’s loyalty towards the Chiefs as CC refused to wear the Colts’ jersey. But when it came to team recruitment, it was PB who got the nod from the podcaster.

Kylie Kelce Recruiting Paige Bueckers
Kylie Kelce was excited when the WNBA expansion handed Philadelphia its first-ever WNBA team. Though the team will start playing in 2030, she is already working behind the scenes to add some quality players to the team, and the 2025 Rookie of the Year winner was her target. She was already a fan of Bueckers’ insane football cannon screaming cheat code, and may be the reason for choosing her over CC.
“I will say that I will plant the seed now. We would love to have you. Sorry Dallas, but I am not sorry. I can set the scene for you. Our food scene, outstanding. Uh, I will tell you the passion from fans in Philadelphia. Oh, yeah. unmatched,” Kelce said to Bueckers on the podcast.

Interestingly, Kelce earlier tried to add A’ja Wilson to the Philadelphia team and now is trying to have a backcourt maestro in Bueckers to take control of the game. If she succeeds in her recruitments, the Philly side will be a title contender in its very first season.
Even though the celebrity podcast host tried to take away the Wings’ prized asset, the player herself is actively recruiting for the upcoming season and using the Unrivalled league as a platform.
Paige Bueckers’ 2026 WNBA Recruitment Process Is Underway
After her individual success with the Wings team, the former UConn star is looking to get to the next level and needs a strong support cast for the same. With that and Wings’ top draft pick in mind, the skilled guard is already making moves in the league.
In a recent interview with Aari McDonald, the 23-year-old had to choose between Miami and Dallas. Without any hesitation, the Rookie of the Year chose Dallas and stated, “You hear that? Free agents, Dallas is the place to be.”
With Kylie trying to take her to the Philly side, PB still had four years in hand, if she decides to honor Kelce’s plea, so it’s wise to build a team to compete for the title with the Dallas team till then.
