A massive surge in footfall and viewership was the key essence of the WNBA’s rise, and indirectly, the massive CBA deal. While a Nobel Prize-Winning economist helped the WNBA players secure 400% raise through strategic negotiation, it was the players who brought in more eyeballs. Many top franchises enjoyed healthy rises in both parameters, with the Indiana Fever, New York Liberty, and Las Vegas Aces riding high in popularity.
Now, with the 2026 season on the horizon, every franchise has opened its schedule, venues, and ticket sales. The defending champions once again showed their pull with sold-out season tickets.

Las Vegas Aces’ Record With 100% Season Ticket Sales
The lingering CB talks worried WNBA fans about the 2026 season, and now, with the season within sight, they are quickly pouncing on available tickets. The 2025 champions have sold out all 2026 season ticket memberships.
With this feat, the Aces became the first franchise in WNBA history to achieve three consecutive years of sold-out status. Interestingly, 92% of the season ticket holders are from the 2025 season, highlighting the loyalty of the Aces’ fanbase.
It is important to note that single-game tickets for 2026 home games remain available, as per WNBA norms. Coach Becky Hammon’s team will start the season with a home game against the Phoenix Mercury at T-Mobile Arena on May 9, and the team will host 22 regular-season games in the 2026 season.

The season ticket milestone is clearly a result of a dominant 2025 campaign, where the side. won 16 consecutive games in the regular season in the final stretch. Wilson was a major part of their turnaround and earned a historic fourth MVP award. She even won Time Magazine’s player of the year accolade for her performances, but the biggest compliment was a comparison with NBA great Michael Jordan.
In one of her recent interviews, when the presenter brought up the topic, Wilson said, “I think I can do three more. That right there is everything I want (compared to MJ). Give me rings. Let me take the picture and really show off who I am. I don’t want to have to be somebody that’s like, ‘Yep, I’m A’ja Wilson, everybody.’ I could also hold this aura and impact where everyone’s like, ‘Oh no, that’s A’ja Wilson.’ And I don’t have to say a word.”
