Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham formed a special bond as the former Mercury star signed with the Indiana Fever in 2025. Their connection hit it off instantly, so now fans can’t see them playing on different teams. For the franchise, it’s a tough choice between the two versatile forwards, and as per multiple reports, the front office is favoring Hull over Cunningham.
But it is not impacting their friendship or relationship, and their latest social media interaction highlights the same.

Lexie Hull’s Special Demand To Sophie Cunningham
Sophie Cunningham poked fun at Caitlin Clark’s Nike signature logo and also demanded a signature shoe from her brand, Adidas. Though her dream remains unfulfilled, she recently shared their new arrival on her social media.
Sharing her pic in the new Adidas shoes, she wrote, “These are legit everyone’s favorite shoes! dress them up or down. so swaggy yet elevated and clean…. thank me later.” Hull was an early responder to the post, commenting, “Send me a pair.”
Currently, Lexie Hull is playing in the Unrivaled league with her champion side, the Rose BC, while Cunningham is nursing her injury, raring for a comeback, hopefully with the Fever side to play alongside her ‘love bug’.

Lexie Hull Raving Over Caitlin Clark’s Sneaker Collection
In the interview with sneaker-centric brand ‘Sole Retriever, ’ the former Stanford forward faced a question: Who on the Fever has the best sneaker game, and who needs a little help? And who needs a little bit of help?
“I would say I think Caitlin has the best sneaker game cuz she I think gets the most amount of free shoes. Oh, also, Tash (Natasha Howard) has a really good sneaker game. She has, like, brings back retro colorways which I think is really cool,” Lexie Hull answered the question.
For the athlete needing help, she chose Chloe Bibby. The star sources sneakers from Australia and, as per Hull, needs to upgrade her sneaker collection with a limited-edition release.
