Being popular has been one of the toughest jobs in the world, and if you are a relative of someone famous, it makes the work even harder. Lexie Hull’s mother, Jamie, experienced it first-hand as she went through tough times during her daughter’s struggling period on the court, and yet defended her wholeheartedly.
While that would be natural, expected, and a bit of an easy task for many, Jamie recently experienced a shocker after receiving malicious emails. She opened up about the situation on social media after the issue was resolved.

Lexie Hull’s Mother’s ‘X’ Account Hacked
The Indiana Fever star started her 2025 season on a high note, with the coach reducing her game time and playing style. Her mother stepped up for her and shared a heartfelt message with fans after her daughter’s miserable slump. She was active on social media, lauding her daughter’s performances and even cheering the Fever team.
But recently, hackers took control of her ‘X’ account, and she sent a message to her followers about it. “I was hacked! so sorry to everyone who received messages from my acct asking to vote for some podcast. I definitely don’t have a podcast. I would be terrible at that!! Tx you X support. I even had someone email me ask ‘Do you want your X acct back?’ Crazy! I’m back! Phew,” Hull tweeted.

She continued her side of the story and warned her close ones about spam, “If you ever get a message that starts with ‘Hey, can you show some love…..,’ DO NOT OPEN IT!! That is the last thing I opened from someone and ai got hacked. Now they sent the same message from my account. PLEASE DON’T OPEN IT!!!” Hull wrote in her follow-up post.
