Right before the free agency signings, the Atlanta Dream shook the WNBA world, pulling off a mega deal that landed Angel Reese with the franchise in exchange for two future first-round picks. The move attracted much hype, considering the massive uplift in the Dream team’s championship contention.
The player was also happy and excited as Reese shared a heartfelt post on social media after the move. Interestingly, even before landing in the city, the former LSU star has found support from an NBA star, who is ready to help her out with settling in.

Former NBA Star’s Special Offer For Angel Reese In Atlanta
There were expectations about news of free agent movements in the ongoing free agency, but the Chicago Sky shocked everyone by moving their prized asset. As much as the player will impact the franchise’s on-court productivity, she will also influence its off-court profits.
Former Atlanta Hawks star Lou Williams was on a podcast where he reacted to the Reese’s addition to the franchise.
He said, “The vibe is amazing in Atlanta. I think she fits the energy of the city. There is some synergy there, she has some real connections in ATL in her personal life so this is a great move for the Atlanta Dream. As soon as the news broke, I reached out to my people, trying to get some season tickets.”
