As the new year rolls on, the excitement has now shifted to Unrivaled. As the new 3v3 format is gaining momentum, players from the WNBA are trying to make their mark in the league. However, one tram in particular, the Breeze BC, is exceeding all expectations.
With Paige Bueckers recently joining the mix, the team is looking all the more menacing. Surging ahead on the back of some sublime performances, players like Rickea Jackson revealed the secret formula to Breeze BC’s success. Unfortunately, despite a dominant showing, Jackson sparked a fan outrage involving Marina Mabrey.
Rickea Jackson Receives A Hard Foul From Marina Mabrey
Breeze BC took on the Lunar Owls recently. And riding on the back of another spectacular performance from Bueckers, they beat the Owls 75-68. However, at one point in the game, Jackson had an awkward tussle with Mabrey, which left the former thumping to the ground.
During a play when the Owls were trailing the Breeze BC by 30-36, Jackson looked to get away with the ball for an attempted shot. Trying to block her, Mabrey came in hard and executed an ugly-looking body tackle on Jackson. The impact immediately sent Jackson rolling to the floor.

Thankfully, Jackson escaped without any significant injuries. Owing to a thunderous dunk from Dominique Malonga, Breeze BC got over the line. However, the fans were not at all happy with Mabrey.
