Days have been looking quite rosy for Maya Moore. After her incredible run as a WNBA athlete, she attained legendary status. And now, even after her retirement, the 36-year-old is making the headlines again. Moore has been inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. As she awaits her special honor, the WNBA legend recreated an iconic moment from none other than Michael Jordan’s life.
Moore has been one of the greatest to have played the game. However, at the age of 29, the legendary athlete decided to put a stop to her basketball career to put stress on social justice reform. And now, as she stands on the verge of history, Moore cannot help but rile up the WNBA realm with a Jordan reference.
Maya Moore Channels Her Inner Michael Jordan Ahead Of Hall Of Fame Induction
Moore has been working with the Jordan brand for a long time now. In a recent post on Instagram, the Jordan brand posted a video of the WNBA legend flaunting all her 12 rings. But the manner in which she posed made fans walk down the memory lane. Emulating the great Michael Jordan, the former Minnesota Lynx star put on all her rings one by one.

A closer look at her rings reveals the four championships she won with the Minnesota Lynx. Next up, there were a couple that she had won for the UConn Huskies in her NCAA playing days. Finally, there were four Team USA rings when Moore won a couple of FIBA World Championships and two Olympic gold medals.

How Has Maya Moore’s Life Been Post Retirement?
Moore shocked her fans when she decided to step away from the sport in her prime. Post her retirement, the 36-year-old has been more focused on criminal justice reform. Taking a unique approach to life, Moore now continues to immerse herself into rectifying the wrongful convictions.

One of her most memorable works includes one with Jonathan Irons. Irons, who was not guilty, was wrongly convicted and put behind bars. And after 20 long years of suffering, Moore could finally free himself in 2020. What touched the fans even more was the fact that the WNBA legend decided to marry Irons later that year. The duo then went on to document their love story in their memoir, ‘Love and Justice.’ They also launched their non-profit organization, ‘Win With Justice,’ that stresses strengthening the legal system reform.
