The WNBA is preparing for yet another season of thrilling action. And while the CBA–WNBPA tensions remain, a solution appears to be not far away. Meanwhile, with this year’s WNBA draft shaping up to feature several incredible NCAA talents, one name that stands out is Olivia Miles.
With a lot of hype around her, Miles was initially touted to team up with the Chicago Sky. However, with nothing confirmed yet, several other teams remain in the mix to land Miles. And as of now, the Minnesota Lynx looks like the best possible team that the Notre Dame star can get into.

Why Must Olivia Miles Join The Minnesota Lynx?
Miles is surely one of the biggest stars in the female basketball realm at the moment. However, even then, she will still need a suitable landing spot for her development. And the Lynx would be a fantastic fit for two major reasons.
One of the primary reasons for this is the presence of Lindsay Whalen on Cheryl Reeve’s coaching team. Back in 2010, Whalen came into the Lynx’s side as a rookie and had a phenomenal arc. Thus, she would be the perfect person to guide the young Miles.
Moreover, another plus of the same is that owing to Lynx’s strong defensive game, the team will have the liberty to cover for her defensive lapses, too. Meanwhile, as the WNBA realm is buzzing with anticipation, Miles is prioritizing TCU growth over the WNBA draft.

Miles not turning pro earlier shocked many people. However, with her injury resurfacing, she wanted to focus on her own health and refine her hooping skills.
“I wasn’t in great shape, still, mentally. I had a great season last year, but I still wanted to get more consistent and more disciplined, and in better shape physically. Being at TCU feels so aligned; I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity, especially with their style of play,” said Miles.

“I don’t look at it at all, especially at this time of year… it’ll get to my head if I see stuff, and I just want to focus on what’s in front of me.” pic.twitter.com/KkWncunIFE
Thus, with things looking quite promising, fans are eager to see which team Miles ultimately chooses.
