The Las Vegas Aces are suddenly looking like a threat to the rest of the competition. En route to a 12-game win streak, the likes of A’ja Wilson have shone bright. Wilson achieved a rare WNBA feat in the Aces’ win over the Sun. And now, with the playoffs looking pretty much within their reach, another Aces’ star, Nalyssa Smith, has dropped some LeBron James-like celebrations online.
The Aces recently faced off against the Atlanta Dream. And once again, with a sublime performance, Las Vegas won the game 81-75. This marked Aces’ 12th win in a row, with their last loss coming against the Minnesota Lynx back on August 3. Naturally, Smith was pretty much charged up.
Nalyssa Smith Recalls LeBron James’s Viral Post
The 25-year-old had a controversial inclusion on the Las Vegas Aces’ side. Recently, anonymous sources revealed a shocking reason for Smith’s trade. Thankfully, things have been going pretty well after the former Wings’ star joined Vegas. The team has been performing well and is 18-6 since Smith’s arrival. And that merry run seems to be continuing.

Soon after their recent victory, the 25-year-old took to her social media to celebrate the triumph. She posted a picture of LeBron James along with the caption, “Can’t believe this my life.” However, to further add a personalized touch to the same, the WNBA star added an additional Aces cap on James’ head.

Nalyssa Smith’s LeBron James Meme Has A Backstory
LeBron James has always been pretty much unfiltered with his words. He has not shied away from putting forth his opinions. Nor has he made an effort to hide his political inclinations. Likewise, the Lakers’ star made it clear that he was not a fan of the US President Donald Trump. James even publicly criticized the President which did not sit well with many.

Back in 2018, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham lashed out at several NBA players for their Donald Trump criticism. And in the firing line were Kevin Durant and James. They were both asked to “Shut up and dribble.” And while the NBA icon did not directly reply, he posted a picture of himself smiling with the caption, “Smiling through it all: Can’t believe this my life.”
Now, a lot of fans speculated that this was James’ reply. However, the Lakers’ star never doubled down on the same. Thus, with Nalyssa Smith bringing back the memories, it now remains to be seen how well the Aces can keep up with the good work.
