The WNBA is currently experiencing a tumultuous situation. Thanks to the rising tensions about the CBA negotiations, the athletes look extremely displeased with the league leadership. As of now, the authorities have tried to restore parity as the WNBA proposed a 30-day CBA deadline extension.
However, the WNBA authority is not the only one going through a tough time. Two of their well-known stars, NaLyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington, are also experiencing trouble in paradise.
Both WNBA athletes had a strong bond outside of the hardwood. Publicly announcing their relationship, the duo were adored by many. Unfortunately, as recent events hint at a possible breakup, Smith has further fueled the rumors by revealing her newest tattoo.
Does NaLyssa Smith’s New Tattoo Confirm Her Breakup?
Carrington and Smith’s relationship dates back a long time. They fell for each other in 2020-21 when they were at Baylor. Continuing their romance in the WNBA, the duo did go through a brief breakup last year before things got normal. Now, this year too, things are looking quite complicated between the two.

Currently, neither Smith nor Carrington follows each other on Instagram. Next up, Carrington further fueled the rumors by posting on her Instagram story, “I’ve always been afraid of losing people I love. Sometimes I wonder, is there anyone out there afraid to lose me.”
Surely, this post immediately set off the rumor mills. And if that was not enough, Smith recently posted yet another cryptic message. In a series of Instagram pictures, the Las Vegas Aces star revealed a new tattoo on her neck. A close-up of her neck revealed the words “Thank you God.”
