While many players had their say on the topic, Natasha Cloud wants players to stay active and raise their voices.
She recalled the 2020 season, during which WNBA players played in a bubble and still made an impact on social causes, creating awareness through their voices. The Liberty Guard even claimed that they played an important role in safeguarding democracy.

The words might confuse many, but the 5-foot-10 guard was referring to the time during the Pandemic when the world was facing many social issues. Talking on Sue Bird’s podcast – A Touch More, she requested players to show similar activism.

“I just wish that during this time we would have a little bit more voices from our league because there was a point where we saved democracy in 2020, and no one wants to give us that.
