The WNBA and WNBPA are now trading offers for the CBA terms, looking to get to the conclusion before March 10. The WNBPA sent a revised offer to the league, lowering its revenue-sharing percentage to 26%. With the delay in the finalization, many reports showed a rift between the WNPBA. Natasha Cloud, though, is backing the Players’ Association in the CBA discussions.
She had been criticizing the league’s approach and workings in the CBA offers. In her recent interview, she had also been on the ‘war front’ against the league.

Natasha Cloud Criticizes WNBA While Backing Players’ Association
The league and the players’ association’s offers still have a wide gap. The PA’s vice president, Breanna Stewart, mentioned that WNBA CBA proposals need more negotiation before the vote. Her Liberty teammate also holds similar views.
“I stand very much unified with the players’ association. We are still not making enough that middleman (‘middle class’ players, who aren’t on rookie contracts or the top veteran players), potentially still not making enough for housing to also be taken off the table,” Cloud said in the interview.
"We are still not making enough."

Natasha Cloud responds to the WNBA's new CBA proposal and brings up her issues with housing potentially being taken away, citing that a big market like NYC will essentially cancel out the $200K jump in salary. pic.twitter.com/Z1mpJHL0pa
“Everyone knows this New York market, that though that $200,000 jump that players are going to make, that’s before taxes. That’s before what they would have to pay for a potential housing market in this in the state of New York. I still am focused on our middleman again. I think it’s a starting point, and I’m happy with them finally coming back to us with a proposal, but I think there’s a lot more that we can do to protect our middleman, even with our jump in salary,” the guard added.
