As the Seattle Seahawks gear up for a Sunday Night Football clash against the Washington Commanders, all eyes are on linebacker Bobby Wagner.
Though the game was still fairly away, it was his off-field flair that had everybody talking about his attire. However, cameras caught the Seahawks legend rocking a Seattle Storm jersey while entering Northwest Stadium.
The much-needed cheer came amid Storm’s hopeful 2026 WNBA Draft pick outcome, hoping for a championship this year.
Bobby Wagner Shows Support For Seattle Storm With Pre-Game Jersey
While the Seattle Storm’s season ended without giving much of a flash this year, they still had supporters rooting for them. This offseason, Wagner joined the franchise as a minority owner.

However, with the Storm navigating a turbulent 2025 and a new coaching era under Sonia Raman, Wagner’s pre-game flex gave the fans something to take as a positive sign.

Seattle Storm In A Mix Despite Sonia Raman’s Coaching Hire
The Storm’s 2025 season ended with a whimper, a 23-21 record. It prompted the September firing of coach Noelle Quinn.
However, after a little longer than expected drama, the Storm hired Sonia Raman from the New York Liberty’s staff. The Seattle GM, Talisa Rhea, also praised her “trailblazing” analytics and player development chops.

Yet, analyst Sophia Jones flagged Storm’s roster crisis. According to her, all six starters, plus sixth woman Erica Wheeler, are unrestricted free agents. “They didn’t have a ton of depth,” Jones said, suggesting a rebuild or retention gamble.
The midseason trade of Jewell Loyd to Atlanta for Nneka Ogwumike exposed that fragility, with Skylar Diggins-Smith’s leadership unable to stabilize a team that underachieved.
