The player signed a deal with market leaders during her college career and recently showcased her custom Nike outfit at the Annika Pro-Am Golf Tournament. Now, fans can expect her signature shoes in the coming days, according to Elliott Hill, the CEO.

Looking at the potential of the former Iowa star and her impact on Women’s sports as a whole, Nike made its intentions clear last year when it signed her to an eight-year, twenty-eight-million-dollar contract, the richest endorsement deal for a women’s basketball player. Yet they released just a logo in her first two WNBA seasons.

While the firm takes time to designate signature athlete status to the player, the work is already underway, according to Elliott Hill. He mentioned that he has spent time inside Nike’s headquarters designing both the shoe and a new signature logo.

Forbes crowned Caitlin Clark among the most powerful women in sports, and she even leads the sales figures in the WNBA, even after spending just two seasons. Nike might want to cash in quickly on her popularity and demand, hinting at a possible early release of the CC’s signature shoes.
