Paige Bueckers is having a fun time this offseason. And she has earned the right to do so. After all, the Wings rookie has been shattering records in just her debut season in the WNBA. What’s more? Her incredible performance has earned her comparisons with none other than the face of the WNBA, Caitlin Clark.
Enjoying her offseason, Bueckers was recently spotted with a Navy Band at the UConn season opener. Now then, after taking the WNBA realm by storm, the Dallas Wings star is all set to make her mark in Unrivaled. And before the series, coach Noelle Quinn has shared a significant amount of praise.
What Did Noelle Quinn Say About Paige Bueckers?
After the early playoff exit of the Seattle Storm, head coach Noelle Quinn was shown the door. However, it looks like she has already found her next assignment with the Breeze BC. The very same team that will see Bueckers make her debut for.

And while she is bracing up to take the expansion team to new heights, Quinn cannot help but gush about how talented the 2024 Rookie of the Year is. “Super excited about Paige. She’s a big guard and you want to start your franchise off with a player of her caliber. Excellent leader,” said Quinn.
She further added, “She can score the basketball, pass the basketball, post up. The middie is not dead. But what I’m most excited about is like who she is and what she stands for and having the ability to be around her every day. Growing the game, growing her game, and representing Unrivaled in an amazing way.”
The way people around the league, from vets to coaches, talk about Paige with so much respect and admiration is so special 🥹 she’s only a rookie yet they constantly praise her leadership and what she stands for pic.twitter.com/ZjwP2puKY3

Surely, the Breeze BC lineup is already looking stellar. With the likes of Cameron Brink and Aari McDonald supporting the Wings’ star, there are some very high expectations from the team. However, despite a promising lineup, Breeze BC might be suffering from a youth paradox.
Will Paige Bueckers Have The Same Fate As the WNBA In Unrivaled?
One of the major reasons for the Dallas Wings’ failure to make a mark was their inexperienced roster. Despite Bueckers playing a fantastic hand, the rest of the team lacked an experienced campaigner who could have held things together.

Interestingly, once again in Unrivaled, the same scenario is unfolding for Bueckers. With the likes of Rickea Jackson, McDonald, Brink and more, Bueckers is again getting an inexperienced playing field to deal with.
Thus, compared to other teams, the Breeze BC is being touted as ‘inexperienced.’ However, with the Rookie of the Year trying to up the ante, this year’s Unrivaled is sure to garner some significant eyeballs.
