The NBA2K is already making some serious noise amongst the gamers, as Take-Two reports over 7 million copies of NBA2K25 sold in its fiscal year. The fans are already loving the new celebrations and modes.
On November 28, NBA 2K MyTEAM featuring WNBA stars was out, allowing users to make a team with their favourite NBA and WNBA players. But incidentally, this feature caused an ‘unthinkable’ blunder which caught fans’ attention.
Fans React to Paige Bueckers’ Awkward NBA2K Timeout Moment
NBA2K has been leading the charts over the years, as the demand for the game is massive. With the rise in popularity of the WNBA, the makers also had the opportunity to add new features to the game to please the fans. In MyTeam mode, users can mix and match players from both leagues to form a unique team.
While one such team featured NBA stars Julius Randle, Anthony Edwards and Paige Bueckers, one ‘natural’ incident shook the world. During the timeout, Julius Randle touched the WNBA star’s bottom. The short video quickly went viral.

NBA games had a feature where players would encourage their teammates by patting them on the back or sitting. While it made the game look natural and more realistic, fans certainly were amazed by the similar interaction between Randle and Bueckers.

While it was an awkward moment in the game, which left fans amused, Bueckers survived a real-life awkward moment as she spoke about the same on Diana Taurasi’s new show.
Paige Bueckers’ Real Life Awkward Moment
WNBA legend Diana Taurasi started a new show, chatting with the stars while playing golf. Bueckers was one of her early guests, as two UConn alums spoke briefly. Bueckers even mentioned that coach Auriemma is now nice to her following her transition to the WNBA. On one occasion, Taurasi questioned the reigning NCAA Champion about her Draft night moment, where she was constantly holding up her dress.
PB mentioned that she realized her blazer needed some covering, and she was constantly adjusting it to her chest. She added that she was doing everything to avoid flashing the audience during the ceremony.
