It looks like the WNBA and the rookies are a hit in recent times. Last year, Caitlin Clark did it. While Clark’s antics boosted the WNBA’s market value, another emerging star is at it once again. This time, it is the Dallas Wings’ phenom, Paige Bueckers. The 23-year-old has been on a song ever since she entered the league.
And while the fans have hopped onto the Paige Bueckers hype train, her numbers do justify the excitement. Following a stunning performance against the New York Liberty, more good news came in for the Wings’ superstar.
Paige Bueckers Makes WNBA Top 10 History
In a recently released update, Bueckers has made her way into a rare trinity of the top 10. The Dallas Wings’ star features in the Top 10 list of points, assists, and steals per game. A feat so rare that the 23-year-old is the only one to achieve the honors in 2025. Till now, Bueckers has played 21 games and is averaging 18.2 points per game. This put her at number nine in the WNBA points list.
Next up, she has garnered 5.5 assists per game, ranking her eighth on the list. Lastly, her average of 1.9 steals per game is enough to see her grab the second spot. With such an all-around accolade, the Dallas Wings will surely prize their special acquisition. And thankfully for the Wings, the 23-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down.

Coming back to the team after a gap, Bueckers went up against a power-packed New York Liberty. As the Wings were on a slump, very few expected otherwise. But Bueckers came in and ran riot. She dropped 20 points and helped the Wings pull off an upset win over the Liberty, 92-82. And owing to her immaculate play, she has been credited equally with Caitlin Clark for the WNBA’s major success.
