The unrivalled league nearly wrapped up the regular season, and so did Rose BC and Breeze BC, securing playoff spots. Both teams recorded important wins, shrugging off the challengers. Breeze BC, in particular, needed a win against Vinyl BC to put their challenge to bed. Paige Bueckers and Rickea Jackson delivered on the night, helping the Rose BC’s progression also.
Fans showed love for Rickea Jackson on her return. The player also showed a clinical display on the floor. One incident, though, caught everyone’s attention with the interaction between PB and Cameron Brink.

Paige Bueckers Tries To Calm Down Cameron Brink
The 2024 WNBA rookie is one of the top defenders in the league thanks to her shot-blocking ability. But the player is always in foul trouble, leaving her on the bench more often. In the first few games of the Unrivaled league, the former Stanford player had at least 3 fouls in each.
But in recent games, after training with Lisa Leslie, the player modified her game, which helped her stay ‘foul-free’ in matches. Knowing this, Bueckers tried to calm her star forward during the break in recent games. Cameras captured the guard’s attempt to help Brink control her aggression and use the breathing technique.

Ironically, the Wings’ guard lost her temper during a one-on-one faceoff against Chelsea Gray as she walked off the court following a humiliating loss. Fans criticized Paige Bueckers for not showing sporting behavior.

Noelle Quinn With High Praise For Paige Bueckers
In the all-important game against Vinyl BC, the former UConn star showed her versatility and scored 25 points with 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal. While the side recorded a convincing 77-56 win over Vinyl, the coach singled out her star guard for her impact.
In the post-game interview, Noelle Quinn said, “It’s been an honor to coach her. The ability to draft her and build this team with her has been amazing to watch. She leads not only with her voice but by action. She demands from herself what she asks from her teammates. She’s a savant in a lot of ways. Not just a student of the game, but working every day on what she needs to improve while perfecting what she already does well.”
Highlighting her traits to combine well with her teammates, she added that the player is ‘one of one, making her team look good.
