Fresh off getting the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year, the No. 1 draft pick turned a routine autograph session at DICK’S Sporting Goods in North Dallas into a full-on event. As posts were shared on social media, fans spilled out the door just to get a glimpse of her.

Even though the Wings missed the playoffs, Bueckers’ magnetic charm has fans buzzing about what’s next for this rising star. However, the line outside DICK’S store had the answer.

However, her rookie season was a highlight reel, despite the Wings’ 10-34 record that left them at the bottom of the standings. Bueckers also broke a 19-year-old WNBA record this season.
Paige Bueckers, Wings’ Young Core Points At A Bright Future
The Wings’ season wasn’t what they hoped for, but Bueckers wasn’t alone in showing promise. Rookies Aziaha James, JJ Quinerly, and Luisa Geiselsöder all carved out roles, giving Dallas a foundation to build on.
James flashed scoring bursts off the bench and averaged 7.2 points, while Quinerly’s speed added spark in transition, and Geiselsöder held her own in the paint with 4.8 rebounds per game. Despite injuries to veterans like Natasha Howard and a midseason coaching shakeup, this young crew kept games competitive, with Bueckers leading the charge.
