While all the veteran and in-position members are putting in their views on the topic, Paige Bueckers also gave her opinion on the ongoing CBA discussions.
The player has been busy in the offseason, with her UConn visits, ring ceremony, USA Basketball, new promotional deals, and now Unrivaled league. While she was on top of her every commitment, she still had her eyes on the CBA discussions, and with the deadline date approaching, she gave her true feelings about the same.

Paige Bueckers Calls For ‘Compromise’
Right from the start of the discussions, WNBPA made its stance clear on not moving away from its demands. Players stayed united and even voted for a possible lockout, giving the authority to the president and other top members to call a strike. And now, with January 9, the extension deadline date passed, Caitlin Clark’s Prophetic Warning Hits Hard.
Earlier in December, Bueckers was happy with the players’ unity and highlighted that it’s the best way to display strength. She added that it’s hard to stay together during the offseason, and now that it’s achieved, they want to take full advantage of it in the CBA.

Bueckers also now gave her honest reaction on the CBA discussion with a cryptic message. “There are some things we just won’t budge on, and we think that we should stand firm in, and then there are things we think we can meet halfway on,” PB told ESPN.

After starring in her first game for the Breeze BC, the 2025 WNBA rookie was once again at the center of the team’s second win with a game-winning basket against the Hive BC. She scored a game-high 16 points and had six assists in the game. Along with her offence, PB collected 10 rebounds.

Dominique Malonga was another player with a double-double performance, scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds in the game as the Breeze BC remains undefeated in the league so far.
