The 2025 year had been the best for Paige Bueckers. She finished her college career as a national champion and entered the WNBA as the top pick in the draft. Although the side finished last in the standings, personally, she had an amazing season, earning her the Rookie of the Year accolade.
Bueckers’ insane rookie record sets her up for early max-salary eligibility, which was confirmed in the recent CBA. So, it’s time to give it back to the community, and as a pro, the player followed suit, arranging a camp for her region. But she was not alone in the camp, as she was able to include.

Paige Bueckers Gets a Special Guest For Her Camp
Many WNBA players hold basketball camps in their regions. While their intentions might be different, Sophie Cunningham hosts a camp to help the young stars get into the spotlight, while Kelsey Mitchell hosts a tournament honoring her late father. The Wings’ star also started a camp for kids in Hopkins.
While she was a former Hopkins player and holds a massive stardom, the Minnesota-based school also saw its WNBA franchise superstar, Napheesa Collier, enter the camp. Bueckers also partnered with a group of experienced coaches to help campers improve their skills in a “fun, high-energy environment.”

While Geno Auriemma’s team reached the final four with a win over Notre Dame, it was not a surprise for many. The biggest upset came from the Men’s division, with Dan Hurley’s team snatching the victory in the dying seconds, courtesy of a heroic three-pointer from the logo by Braylon Mullins.
The women’s team also celebrated the victory with everyone sharing their excitement on social media. The former UConn star also watched the high-octane game and posted a video of the last shot while watching on her TV. She was in disbelief and shouted, “OH MY GAHD. AHHH.”

While the UConn women’s team is favorites for the championship, the men’s team would also look for more miracles to clinch the title.
