The Breeze BC had a long shot at the semifinal with a knockout game against the defending champions, Rose BC, deciding their fate. Both teams had impactful superstars, making the game even more intriguing for the fans. Paige Bueckers, in particular, was looking ahead to face Chelsea Gray after the Ace’s star handed her a humiliating loss in the 1-on-1 tournament.
But instead of a close game, the Breeze BC dominated the court, taking home an easy 69-50 win. After the win, the megastar spoke about the team’s mentality in the game and her warning to the team.

The Breeze BC was able to hold off Chelsea Gray and Angel Resse below 15 points and 10 rebounds to put pressure on the opponents and win the game. While Wings’ guard wanted to keep her team focused in the game, despite a heavy lead in the game.
“This is Chelsea’s time, you all don’t let up, don’t take foot off the gas…. I was like, I have seen Chelsea go crazier S-H-*-T. Like I was just gonna say, she is a legend, man like playoff-riser,” Bueckers said in a postgame interview.

Following the win over Rose BC, the former UConn star reflected on the journey so far in the Unrivaled league and also mentioned the new ‘upgrade’ in her abilities.
In the post-game interview, she said, “Finding how to use my voice. I’ve always been a person who wants to please everyone, but I think learning how to hold people accountable while also holding myself accountable.”

The player had been leading her teams on the scoresheet with her gameplay, and also, fans have seen her being vocal on the floor, too. But the 2025 rookie is now looking to go deeper in the leadership role and take control and responsibility of the franchises she plays for.
