It is Paige Bueckers’ world, and we are just living in it. The Dallas Wings rookie is having a career season. With stats, filled arenas, highlight videos, and winning over fans, even the rival fans.
Ahead of the Wings’ clash with the New York Liberty, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft got real about the love she’s getting across arenas. The young hoop sensation shared how she feels bad for not giving enough back.
Paige Bueckers Shares Regret For Not Giving Back To Fans
In a video shared Friday, Bueckers opened up about the surreal experience of seeing fans, even those cheering for opposing teams. Despite the team sitting at the bottom of the points table, PB still got fans pulling up to the arena and showing love.
“It’s super surreal, just for people to continue to follow my journey and support me throughout every single step of the way. It makes me very appreciative of that,” Beuckers said after the game.
However, while she acknowledged fans’ support for her basketball journey, the young point guard also shared regret.
“Also, in a way, I feel bad because I can’t show love and get back to every single one of them. Sign autographs, take pictures… So I feel bad in that aspect, but I do want them to know that I really appreciate their support,” she added.

Paige Bueckers Bringing Glory To Dallas Wings
While the team is in losing trenches, Bueckers has turned Dallas into a hot ticket. They are selling out games and setting a Texas WNBA attendance record of 20,409 on June 29. Average ticket prices jumped 74% to $321, matching the Indiana Fever’s demand, per Sports Business Journal. Her No. 5 jerseys are flying off shelves, and her marketability score of 81.18/100 trails only Caitlin Clark’s.

Additionally, her regret over not repaying every fan shows a grounded side that’s rare for a 23-year-old carrying a franchise. Against the Liberty last Tuesday, she dropped 21 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. She proved she’s ready for big stages, even with a sore back. As the Wings rebuild, her leadership and fan connection would be a thing to watch.
