Paige Bueckers had a scintillating season last year. And that started even before she made her way into the WNBA. Showing a strong potential in her college days, the 23-year-old guided the Huskies to a national championship. Following her impeccable performance, she carried forward the momentum into the WNBA too.
Drafted by the Dallas Wings, Bueckers took the WNBA by storm. Winning the Rookie of the Year award, the Wings’ star was the only shining light amidst an otherwise poor Wings’ campaign.
Now, as the new year brought in fresh opportunities, Bueckers is once again leading the charge, this time for the Breeze BC. Unfortunately, despite so many positives going on, Bueckers’ availability might be somewhat of a concern for Team USA.

Paige Bueckers Might Miss The FIBA Qualifiers For Unrivaled
Bueckers is currently dominating the field in Unrivaled. And as Breeze BC is surging ahead, the Wings’ star is looking to guide her team into the playoffs. But as the rivalry between Bueckers and Chelsea Gray intensifies, her availability for the FIBA qualifiers is looking bleak.
With the qualifiers scheduled to start from March 11, it will be around the same time that the Unrivaled playoffs, too, will be underway. And considering the manner in which Breeze BC is playing, it looks like Bueckers might choose to play for Unrivaled over Team USA.
Writing for the Olympics, Lauren Jones echoed a similar concern. She wrote, “With the Unrivaled championship game scheduled for 4 March, it is still uncertain whether Breeze BC will advance to the title game. The tight turnaround between the end of the Unrivaled season and the start of the World Cup qualifiers on 11 March is one reason why it remains unclear if Bueckers will be available to compete in Puerto Rico.

Surely, Team USA would not want to miss out on such a talent. As Clark is already expected to play, pairing her up with Bueckers would have been a dream-come-true moment. Meanwhile, with the CBA deal threatening to get out of bounds, Bueckers recently hinted at an interesting proposal.
Paige Bueckers Hints At ‘Compromise’ With The CBA Deal?
It has been three times now that the CBA deadline has expired. And as the athletes are protesting vehemently, trying to make the WNBA listen to their plea, Bueckers said something interesting. In an interview with ESPN, the Wings’ star teased about meeting ‘halfway.’

“There are some things we just won’t budge on, and we think that we should stand firm in, and then there are things we think we can meet halfway on,” said Bueckers.
Earlier today, I asked Paige Bueckers what the benefits are of having so many players in the same place at Unrivaled as the next deadline for the CBA approaches in January.

Her response: "Unity is the best way to display strength, so for us to be together, all be on the same…
Thus, with Bueckers in the limelight as of now, fans cannot wait to see what happens next.
