Team USA practice session completes on day one, with every player showcasing their skills to the coaches who will select the team for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. Fans went crazy watching Caitlin Clark back on the floor after over four months’ break.
The Fever guard performed well on the offensive end but was slow on defense. On one occasion, Paige Bueckers showcased her ball-handling and shooting skills, draining a range shot over CC.

But on one play, the star destroyed her batchmate, Caitlin Clark. The roster was divided into two parts, with CC and PB on opposing teams. While Bueckers was on offense, she received a ball on the wing. The Fever guard committed to block her shot, but the former UConn guard dodged the jump and easily drained the three-pointer.

While the player showed her quick thinking, her teammates were excited by the play. Although there are debates about the starting guard position in Team USA, the duo is also in the running. Geno Auriemma put the 2025 rookie in the forefront, while the WNBA analyst suggested that Clark would be the obvious choice.
