Paige Bueckers has emerged as one of the biggest prospects of the WNBA. Making her debut this season, the Dallas Wings’ star dominated the field, breaking a significant number of records.
And owing to her incredible performance, the accolades for Bueckers have not stopped coming, even in the offseason.

Paige Bueckers Gets One More Accolade For Her Incredible Performance
Bueckers has had a dream year in 2025. Not only did she become the next big thing in the WNBA, but she also had unprecedented success in her NCAA career. Guided under the watchful eyes of Geno Auriemma, the UConn star led the Huskies to a stellar NCAA championship run.
Thus, despite the Wings looking down and out this year, Bueckers was their silver lining, having clinched the Rookie of the Year award, too. Surely, after such a stacked season, there would have been very little confusion as to who the Female Athlete of the Year might have been.

In a recent announcement, Bueckers was named as Outsports’ Female Athlete of the Year. Justifying their pick, the website stated how she became the fastest rookie in the history of the league to attain 500 points and 100 assists. And not only on court, but Bueckers has also been sending ripples off the hardwood, too.
In a recent development, Bueckers gave away a whopping sum of $65000 to underserved youth programs. All of these funds were donated for buying sports equipment and apparel for the upcoming athletes. Meanwhile, with another season coming up, Chris Paul recently had some words of wisdom for Bueckers.
Chris Paul Asks Paige Bueckers To Develop Her Work Ethic
Chris Paul surely knows a thing or two about how to develop one’s hooping game. After all, the former LA Clippers’ star is a member of the NBA’s 75th anniversary team. Recently, speaking about Bueckers, Paul expressed excitement at how she paced her season this year. Additionally, Paul also had some advice for PB to improve her A-game in the coming year.

“My advice would just be to continue to develop and work ethic ― what you already do ― but just keep watching, learn whatever the offence is as much as you can. You just get more confident the more you play,” Paul said.
Thus, with things looking upbeat, fans are eager to see how things pan out in the future.
