Paige Bueckers might not have had a very happy outing with the Dallas Wings last season. Despite performing out of the box herself, the Wings’ star could not make her team reach the playoffs. What’s worse, they finished last on the table.
Surprisingly, despite all the gloomy experiences, Bueckers is still not giving up on the Dallas Wings. Currently, Bueckers is dominating the Unrivaled field. Playing for the Breeze BC, her performances are looking pretty solid.
However, amid the glitz and glamor, she has not forgotten about her WNBA team. Trying to recruit quality athletes, the infrastructure back in Dallas might pose some serious threats.

Paige Bueckers’ Attempt To Get New Players Might Fail Due To Dallas Wings’ Facilities
Bueckers is all excited about starting a new WNBA season on a fresh note this year. And as the CBA talks have put a question mark on the timely commencement of the same, the 23-year-old recently attempted to encourage players to join the Wings.
In a recent interview that has now gone viral on social media, the 23-year-old was asked to choose between Miami and Dallas. Without any hesitation, the Rookie of the Year chose Dallas and stated, “You hear that? Free agents, Dallas is the place to be.”

Sadly, even if the free agents wanted to join the Wings, the infrastructure might repel them. Greg Bibb, the Wings’ CEO, recently shared some grim news with The Dallas Morning News. He stated that the construction work for the proposed $48.6 million training facility will be delayed significantly.
At the moment, the facility will not be in a position to welcome athletes till the spring of 2027. In addition, the opening of the Memorial Auditorium, which was supposed to be open to the public this year, will be delayed till 2027. Meanwhile, as Bueckers continues her forward march, the Wings’ rookie received a lot of praise from the Unrivaled commissioner.
Paige Bueckers Termed As ‘Superstar’ By Alex Bazell
After the WNBA, Bueckers has taken Unrivaled by storm. In her maiden appearance for the Breeze BC, the 23-year-old chipped in with 24 points, helping her team cruise to victory. Quite expectedly, the league commissioner sounded pretty impressed with Bueckers.

“Paige is a superstar. Paige is someone that raises the level of everyone else. I think that’s what’s really important. It’s not an individual sport, but individuals do set tones of culture. She’s one of the culture-setters for us, and women’s basketball as a whole,” said Bazell.
