Project B might be silent on social media at the moment, without any new recruitment announcement, but fans are worried about their background work and are waiting for the next big name announcement. Many eyes are already on top young players like Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, and Cameron Brink, who were top picks in respective WNBA drafts and delivered high-end performances.
In an interview, Caitlin Clark firmly rejects Project B’s invitation despite teammates jumping ship to a rival league. But she lauded the initiative while speaking about Project B. PB, however, didn’t give any direct answer.

Paige Bueckers Gives Honest Opinion On Joining Project B
The Wings’ 2025 top pick was a revolutionary player for the franchise. Despite their bottom-place finish, Bueckers won the Rookie of the Year award for a dominating performance, single-handedly carrying the team. She was the face of the league among a host of superstars, which once again raised the question: whether PB would join Project B?
When reporters asked the former UConn star about it, she just said, “We leave that to the agents.”

Interestingly, the 24-year-old joined the Unrivaled league, which is also looking to expand with big game players. Additionally, Paige Bueckers delivered a blunt wake-up call on why WNBA solidarity could change everything.

While her response was cryptic, Caeron Brink’s response created more suspense. She mentioned that the layers are not allowed to discuss it, which might signal that Project B is in contact with the top young stars and wants to ensure that only their announcement reveals the next star in the new league.
While PB was unclear about joining a new 5-on-5 league, she was firm on lauding the young stars at the USA Basketball training camp.
Paige Bueckers Lauds Class Of 2020 For USA Team
The 2025 Team USA training camp featured 10 new faces, with four of them being from the same high school class. PB, along with Angel Reese, Clark, and Brink, entered the college league as top prospects. They continued their impressive run and established a name for themselves in the WNBA as well.
Lauding the class of 2020, Bueckers said, “I mean, you guys know about the nickname. We coined ourselves young and turnt class, but really we’re just, we play with the chip on our shoulder. I feel like we have that edge to us. We’re really competitive, highly competitive, and we all just want to win and represent ourselves, our teams, our communities, in the right way, our country, the right way.”

While the final team is not yet out, receiving a call for tryouts and training for the national side itself is a huge achievement, and the class of 2020, as PB said, certainly showed how competitive they are on the floor.
