Entering the Unrivaled league and 3-on-3 format was one of the bold decisions that Paige Bueckers took in her career. Not because of challenges on the court or questions over her capabilities in a shorter format, but the amount of basketball she has been playing for the last two years. After lifting the NCAA Championship, the player delivered top performances once again in the WNBA.
While she remained the focal point in her every team, the Unrivaled league commissioner gave her superstar praise for her performances in the league. Carrying the load of her teams, the player took special ways to unwind herself away from basketball.

Paige Bueckers’ Way To Relax Outside Basketball
In the early phases of the Unrivaled league, the former UConn star mentioned that the 3-on-3 competition is difficult than that of the WNBA. So it was very demanding for the young star; she does take her time to relax and focus on her game. Giving an exclusive interview to Elle magazine, the player opened up about her ways to relax.
“We have a little book club,” Bueckers said. “I think it was the creativity and combining different aspects of life. I’m a basketball player, I like to read, and I also like to express myself through fashion. Coach has done a really good job of having me be a part of these really cool things off the court, which allows me to express myself through a different lens and also to have people see me outside of the basketball court.”

Paige Bueckers Earns Unrivaled First Team Selection
PB was one of the biggest names joining the Unrivalled league in 2026, as the 3-on-3 format is looking to absorb top names from the WNBA. While the player won the Rookie of the Year award in her first season in the WNBA, she remained a consistent performer in the team.
While she lost to Chelsea Gray in one-on-one competition despite being one of the favorites, the star is still in the MVP race, trailing just behind Chelsea Gray, who took a firm grip on the accolade with her recent 35-point output. PB, though, earned a special honor and joins Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray as Unrivaled First Team for 2026.
