The WNBA season might be struggling to get underway at the moment. Despite new proposals coming in from the league, players like Alysha Clark have dismissed them immediately. Contrastingly, the scenario with Unrivaled has been pretty much a different story.
As season 2 came to an end, the league saw a massive $18 million revenue jump. However, despite all the glitz and glamor, the Breeze BC were left with a bitter taste. Failing to clinch the championship, their star player, Paige Bueckers, had an important message to share.

Paige Bueckers Happy To Be A Part Of Breeze BC
Playing against the Mist BC in the semifinal, Bueckers and co. lost the game narrowly 69-73. Interestingly, it was the Mist BC that ultimately went on to win the championship this year. Yet, despite the loss, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year proudly extended her gratitude towards her team on social media.
Taking to her Instagram, the Dallas Wings’ star wrote, “Couldn’t have imagined a better group of people from top to bottom to spend the first year of Unrivaled with. Love you guys & it’s family for life.”
She further added, “The young and turnt are just gettting started, only up from here🤞🏼.”

Surely, Bueckers does have all her reasons to hold her head high. In the semifinal against the Mist, the 23-year-old star dropped 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Moreover, she also rounded off a stellar season, becoming the fourth-best scorer in the league. The former UConn Huskies star averaged 22.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game this season. Even in the playoffs against the Rose BC, Bueckers dropped 29 points.
But her quest for success is not ending anytime soon. Next up, she is all set to make her debut for Team USA, pairing up with Caitlin Clark.
Will Team USA Witness A Clash Of Power Dynamics With Paige Bueckers And Caitlin Clark?

The Wings’ guard is part of the 12-player roster for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament. Beginning March 11 in Puerto Rico, the team will also feature the likes of Clark and Angel Reese. And this is something that fans and critics have been buzzing about.
Rumors about Bueckers not liking Clark have taken the realm by storm. Fans pointed out that with the duo playing together, things might become challenging for them to work things out together. Thankfully, crushing the narrative, the 2025 NCAA champion called Clark her ‘idol.’
Clarifying the doubts further, she said, “It’s crazy, because everyone is pinning me and Caitlin against each other for the longest time. We are cool, like we are friends, but again it’s in respect to the competition. So we understand that. At the same time, to have two fanbases that really hate each other have to come together for a couple of months, so it will be really fun.”
