Paige Bueckers, one of the most talented players in the WNBA, is traveling the world basking in the live action on Earth. Though her enthusiasm saw her go to the NBA, NFL, and even college basketball matches, she has, of late, gone to watch a soccer match in England.
As Paige Bueckers stole the spotlight on the Dallas Cowboys’ thumping victory over the Washington Commanders, she was won over by the sport and club.
Paige Bueckers Becoming A Gunners Supporter
As part of the game’s special guest, the Dallas Wings guard watched the high-profile London Derby match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace. Although the Gunners are in the top position in the league, the derby victory was what Mikel Arteta’s team needed.

With the match evenly poised between the two Premier League clubs, it was a thrilling and enjoyable 90-minute play for spectators, including PB. She accepted the reality in the interview. “I am becoming one. When I was younger, I was into all athletics, and I played with the boys all the time during recess,” she said.
The Arsenal defeated the game with a goal from Ezze. The 2025 WNBA rookie posted the goal video on her Instagram story, displaying solidarity with the London team.

“I played all the sports like football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. Basketball was something I could do downstairs in the garage where I lived, and I guess it grew from there,” Bueckers added.
While the player acted like a star in her first season, Bueckers was declared the Rookie of the Year in 2025. She is now even receiving a special award for her play in the NCAA.
Paige Bueckers Set For Major NCAA Accolade
Although the star prefers to play several sports, she excels at basketball, and her gameplay on the court has demonstrated to everyone just how dominant a player she is. But even outside the field, she has been a strong force within the community, frequently engaging in social cause activities.
For her on-court and off-court impact, the UConn player is one of the 30 finalists for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. Interestingly, she is the sole basketball player in the class of 2025.

The player would have the distinction of being just the third basketball player and second UConn Huskies member to win the award. Rebecca Lobbo was another UCOnn star who won in 1995, while Nicky Anosike of Tennessee clinched the award in 2008.
