The Unrivaled league will have its champion after three more games, as Breeze BC and Vinyl BC advance to the Semifinals to face Mist BC and Phantom BC, respectively. Though there will be only one champion at the end, every player in the tournament will feel like a winner, learning new skills and improving on existing ones. Paige Bueckers had been one of the top performers in the league, earning a special honor for her stellar season.
But even the star mentioned adding a new dimension to her game. In the recent post-game interview, PB highlighted finding her voice in the Unrivaled league.

Paige Bueckers On Leadership Lessons From Unrivaled League
The 23-year-old had been a leader in every team she played in. Whether it was the UConn Huskies, the Dallas Wings, or even the U-16 USA team, the player took centre stage with her performances and was leading from the front. Even at the Unrivaled league, the player remained the focal point for her Breeze BC team. But the leadership on the stat lines and on the court are different, which she learned in the Unrivaled league.
In the post-game interview, she said, “Finding how to use my voice. I’ve always been a person who wants to please everyone, but I think learning how to hold people accountable while also holding myself accountable.”

While the player is learning in the Unrivaled league, she is already seeing herself compared to some of basketball’s greats, highlighting her impact on the game.
Paige Bueckers Compares Her Game To WNBA Legends
The former UConn star is one of the generational talents who entered the league with high expectations. Though the previous entrant, Caitlin Clark, took over the league, PB’s game was different and yet equally effective. While she was on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, the host asked her to compare herself with other UConn stars who played in the league.
“DT [Diana Taurasi] is one, definitely, just in terms of her being one of the greatest of all time,” Bueckers said. “Sue Bird is one, [I have] a little bit of Maya Moore. Maya was way more athletic than me, but it was her ability to get to her spots on her floor and shoot in the mid-range.”
The star added many NBA legends to the list too, naming Kyrie Irving, Kobe Bryant and Devin Booker to the list. The talisman guard already mentioned that she is looking to add Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s bump pull-up to unlock next-level WNBA dominance.
