The WNBA season is over, and uncertainty surrounds the upcoming season. However, the players are on the court, as the Unrivaled league will start next month. Paige Bueckers is one of the new faces in the league and will be part of the young team, Breeze BC.
While Bueckers was happy with her teammates at the Breeze BC team, she didn’t stop there and handed them a special gift. Fitting to her nature, it was a custom gift from the Wings’ guard.

While the player is looking to strike partnerships with her Breeze BC players, who also shone at the WNBA level, her own franchise, the Wings, is developing a plan for its star player with the new boss, Jose Fernandez.
Dallas Wings With Special Plan for Paige Bueckers
The Wings concluded the 2025 season in devastating fashion, with just 10 wins, finishing last in the league standings. The side appointed a new coach, Jose Fernandez, who is famous for bringing the best out of players.
Recently, the Wings’ coach was on the ‘In Case You Missed It’ podcast. The question came about the plan for the rookie, where the veteran coach said, “Paige is a very good basketball player. She’s one of the faces of the league and the future of the WNBA and also USA basketball. She wants to be coached. She wants to win. So, that’s plain and simple.”
The coach made his intentions clear about the megastar and will be utilizing her to the fullest. Interestingly, the Wings have a perfect chance to provide young and talented support to the 2025 rookie with their first overall pick in the upcoming WNBA draft.
