The WNBA Offseason had been very productive for Angel Reese. Not only does she get to live her dream of acting in a movie and walking the ramp for Victoria’s Secret, but Reebok has also launched her first signature shoe line, AR1, just around the offseason.
With the huge demand for shoes, the first lot was sold out within minutes. Even Reese’s prophetic video from last year resurfaces after the signature sneaker sells out. Just four months later, the Sneaker giants came up with a new variant, now Midnight Diamond Dust.

Reebok Launches Angel Reese’s Signature Shoes’ New Variant
The AR1 journey started with only three main styles: ‘Diamond Dust’, ‘Mebounds’ (pink), and ‘Receipts Ready’ (black/white) in September. While the demand exceeded expectations, Reebok also increased the work and time allocated to come up with new editions, such as ‘Charm City’, ‘Tiago’, and now the ‘Midnight Diamond Dust’, to meet fans’ requirements.
Reebok announced the news on social media and wrote, “Angel Reese 1: Midnight Diamond Dust Available on 12/11.”

Unlike all the previous colorways, the Reebok Angel Reese 1 ‘Midnight Diamond Dust’ did not feature a splashy campaign photo shoot. However, with the singular colour and star’s name attached to it, the new variant can also expect a similar response from the audience.

It is more than a traditional triple-black colorway. The all-black silhouette features grey detailing and a sparkly finish, adding a touch of shine to the shoe. “From sun up to sun down, the ‘Midnight Diamond Dust’ colorway represents the long days followed by long nights of putting in the work. Like the original Diamond Dust colorway, this new edition is for all those who hustle to achieve their dreams,” Reese said.
While her signature shoe is in high demand, now one of her sneaker pairs is on the NBA floor, too.
Angel Reese’s Boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr. Shows Up In AR1’s
The Orlando Magic Center accepted their relationship during a podcast interview, calling the Sky forward his homie. The Chi-Town Barbie also shows up regularly at the Magic Games and wears the jersey to show her support. The star also showed up as he laced up the Angel Reese 1 in the “Receipts Ready” colorway.
The act was more important since he wore the shoes right after confirming his relationship with Reese. An unmistakable nod was a big hint of their close relationship.
With Reebok finding success with the AR1, they are ready to capitalize on new colorways. Looking at Reese’s dominance around the rim, the star is ready to rule the shoe world with her six variants so far.
