The Unrivaled league started with huge expectations as many top players joined the league. Paige Buckers, Rickea Jackson, and Cameron Brink became the young trident in the Breeze BC team, who joined the league from season 2 only.
Though the roster has all the young stars, thrilled Bueckers shared a post backing her Breeze BC side in season 2. The players also responded well with their performances on the floor as Rickea Jackson opened up on the team’s success mantra.

Rickea Jackson Opens Up On Reasons For Breeze BC’s Success
The Breeze BC has many talented young top picks from the WNBA draft. The side started off with a win over Phantom BC and recently won over Hive BC to go 2-0 in the league. While TNT show presenter, Candace Parker, lauded Paige Bueckers’ impact on the games, she asked the Sparks’ star about the Breeze franchise’s secret.
“This team has jelled like effortlessly. It’s insane how our chemistry came together, but I feel like a lot of that has to do with our versatility. Everyone is not just boxed into one position. Each and every one of us has played multiple positions, and that’s what make this team so special,” Jackson revealed in the interview.

The side has many top players like Dominique Malonga, Caeron Brink, Aari McDonald, and Kate Martin, who proved themselves on the WNBA floor. PB and Jackson had also been impactful players for their respective franchises in the ‘W’.

Bueckers quickly made her impact on the Unrivalled with a game-high 24-point performance against the Phantom BC in the opening game. In the second game of the league, the 2025 rookie once again remained amongst the top scorers and recorded a double-double stat to win the game for Breeze BC. Bueckers spoke about the difficulty in playing in the Unrivaled league, yet looked comfortable with the 3-on-3 format.
