Sandy Brondello Targets Championships With Toronto
The Toronto fans were already excited with the appointment of Sandy Brondello, as her presence would give Tempo one significant free agency advantage. Even though having top-quality players provides them with a certain edge in the games, the new HC set a target for the side.

“You can build from the ground up, and you can bring the players in that will represent this city and this team in the right way and enable us to be the best, the highest-performing team that we can. The goal is to bring a championship to Toronto. That hasn’t changed. My narrative hasn’t changed. I like winning,” Brondello said in her introduction interview.
While the unfinished CBA deal has pushed back the dates of the expansion draft and free agency signings, Tempo fans are eager to find their first roster in the WNBA.
