Satou Sabally Takes Bold Step To Support Alopecia Awareness
The three-time All-Star is one of the most followed athletes from the league, with her styling also becoming the topic of discussion for many. The player had a distinguishable hairstyle, fitting perfectly with her aggressive gameplay.
But now Sabally shaved her head to show support for Alopecia Awareness. Sharing her new look on Instagram, the player simply wrote, “Alopecia Awareness.” Followed it up with a heart emoji.
Alopecia Awareness focuses on educating the public about hair loss conditions—particularly alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease affecting millions—to break stigmas, stop bullying, and encourage support for those affected.

Satou Sabally Shares Strong Message For CBA Terms
During the earlier discussions, the player vouched for the higher salaries for Rookies and even added that the league should consider getting the season underway quickly. While the situation at the moment has not changed much, with revenue assured and housing provisions still halting the CBA confirmations.
The forward also clapped back at NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who called the negotiations too personal, looking at the heavy criticism Cathy Engelbert had to face. The Mercury star responded to these claims too.
“The WNBA wants to forbid us from making a lot more money. We make more money in China, Russia (and) Turkey than here. … It is very personal, I don’t (know) why it shouldn’t become personal,” Sabally told reporters while clarifying that the negotiations feel “very personal” because they dictate players’ financial futures, not just careers.

As of now, there is no fixed date for CBA confirmation, while the delay till now and henceforth is putting pressure on the schedules, mainly the exhibition games and training camps.
