Satou Sabally’s Viral Moment With Grant Williams
Playing for the Dallas Wings at the time, the forward met another hooper – Grant Williams on the sidelines. With both players exerting authority on the court, they hit it off quickly and hugged after a small talk.

Keen-eyed fans observed Williams’ handset screen, where he had the phone book app open, like he was ready to take down the number. Many sensed a possible love interest with the former Celtics star taking the first step.
The 27-year-old forward, though, cleared the air instantly and mentioned that he already has her number.

Satou Sabally Focused On WNBA Championship
The days in Dallas are now gone. That’s what she meant when Sabally shared the reason for requesting trade from the Wings. In 2025, the Wings are at the bottom of the league standings without her while the German-American star is contesting for the title.
Playing alongside Alyssa Tomas, Kahleah Copper, and DeWanna Bonner, the former Oregon player is pushing for a championship with the Mercury. Sabally even vouched for Alyssa Thomas’ MVP claims, applauding the record-setting forward.
The team’s scoring leader also collected six rebounds and made four assists in the games. The 6-foot-4 player could be a key piece in the Mercury’s quest for a fourth championship.
