After two seasons in the WNBA, Angel Reese established herself as a competitive player with power and confidence. Though she ruled the basketball courts with her gameplay, the star had been an influential individual off the court, too, following her success in the business and entertainment world.
Reese received praise from WNBA stars for her historic Victoria’s Secret runway debut. But all this success also reflected on her Signature shoes’ popularity, as the Reebok Basketball president, Shaquille O’Neal, highlights the forward’s influence on the brand’s new era.

The four-time NBA Champion joined Reebok with the sole reason to have his signature shoe and separate identity in the basketball world. The Sky forward also had similar aspirations when she joined the brand, and now the duo is taking the brand to new highs.
“Angel represents everything this new era of Reebok basketball is about — power, confidence, and impact on and off the court. She’s a competitor, a leader, and she’s unapologetically herself,” Shaq told reporters.

“As a woman’s basketball player, not a lot of people expect me to do anything else. Nobody expected me to walk the runway at Victoria’s Secret, nobody expected me to have my own shoe. There’s so many barriers that I’ve had to break but I continue to come back with even more. There’s nothing that I can’t do and we’re going to normalise that. Women can do anything they put their minds to,” Reese said.
While Reese 1’s are certainly ruling the market, the star’s influence is not limited to the fans only. Her LSU teammate and potential Sky member also joined the Reebok brand recently.
Angel Reese’s Former Teammate Joins Reebok
Top brands are always looking for impactful young stars who could become the face of the franchise, league, and subsequently their brand. As Reebok is now putting faith in the Sky forward, the sneaker giants also made a bold move, signing 2025 WNBA rookie and former LSU Tigers star Aneesah Morrow.
The Sun player made a productive start to her career in the WNBA and will represent Reebok’s brand’s performance and lifestyle offerings, including its performance basketball franchise, the Reebok Engine A.
Talking about connecting with Reese, she said, “That’s a full circle. We both built our names through our work ethic, especially on the boards, and that’s something that will always connect us. It’s a blessing to be part of something bigger alongside other strong women in this sport who continue to elevate the game.”
The duo won the 2023 NCAA Championship together and will now look to put Reebok ahead of its competitors in the sneaker game.
