During the offseason, Sophie Cunningham might not have been the busiest star from the WNBA (due to her injury), but she was the most active one. She will be hosting her annual three-day women’s basketball event on January 9. She even made appearances at many public events.
Fans loved Cunningham’s appearance on the Good Morning America show, where she literally took over the show in her short cameo. While the star is not new to the bright lights and live shows, she recently found inspiration from rapper Snoop Dogg, who was calling the Warriors game against the Clippers.

Sophie Cunningham Talks About Inspiration From Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg is an iconic figure who went to Paris during the Olympic Games to support the American squad and attended every sporting event where Team USA was performing. Recently, he was at the Chase Center calling the game between the Warriors and the Clippers.
He had several viral moments throughout the broadcast, but the iconic one was calling Steve Kerr’s controversial ejection. Yahoo Sports shared the post on the same, and Cunningham was quick to react to it. She wrote, “Hahaha. My broadcasting career inspo [inspiration].”

Sophie Cunninham’s Career Plan After WNBA
The player is a fan favourite due to her on-court performances and off-court aura, largely thanks to her ‘straightforward’ responses. While her podcast is gaining popularity for the same reason, the player highlights her career plans after the WNBA.
“I would love to coach, but I also think I want to get married and I want to have a family. The life of coaching is not so ideal for all that. So there’s that. I’d love to do broadcast. I would love to be in the entertainment space. So, who knows?” said Cunningham.
If the Fever forward enters the broadcasting world, the show would certainly be sassy and fiery with the player’s reputation. Now she also talked about drawing inspiration from Snoop Dogg, which adds to the entertainment quotient. No doubt, fans will be ready for the shows Cunningham would host.
