Sophie Cunningham is not someone who likes to beat around the bush. In fact, it is her aggressive, straightforward approach that has earned her a lot of fan following recently. While giving her take on matters, we have seldom seen the Fever guard sugarcoat things.
For example, Cunningham recently vented her frustration about the ongoing CBA talks. And now, on a completely different note, the 29-year-old shared her romantic preference. However, what she said will surely take many people by surprise.
Sophie Cunningham Gives A Warning To Anyone Planning To Propose To Her In A Sporting Event
Often, we have seen people go down on one knee and propose to their loved ones in a packed stadium. Now, while it might seem romantic for many, if you are planning to do the same with Cunningham, then beware.

In a recent episode of the ‘Show Me Something’ podcast, co-host West Wilson asked Cunningham about her opinion on public marriage proposals. For reference, he cited the recent example of a fan proposing to his girlfriend at an Ole Miss game.
Unfortunately, Cunningham immediately trashed the idea. She also stated that she would punch someone in the face if someone proposed to her at a public sporting event.
“I swear, if anyone were to ever propose to me at any sporting event, I would punch them in the nose and I would leave,” Cunningham said. “I think it’s gross. There’s no way in hell. If someone were to ever do that to me, actually, they wouldn’t do that because I wouldn’t be getting proposed to, cause they would know I would not want that.”

Surely now, no one would plan a surprise proposal for Cunningham at a public sporting event. Meanwhile, this was not the first time the Fever star had been outspoken about a matter. Cunningham recently lashed out at Tom Brady for cloning his dog.
Sophie Cunningham Criticized Tom Brady For Cloning His Dog
NFL legend Tom Brady has been in the news lately. He has claimed to have cloned his dog, ‘Lua,’ who passed away back in December 2023.

Reacting to the news, Cunningham stated, “I don’t have a problem with him (Brady), but he does some weird sh*t. This is why rich people do weird sh*t, because they have f*cking money and they just find ways to do weird sh*t,” said Cunningham.
Thus, it is evident that Cunningham likes to be unapologetic. And while she has earned fans’ love, the most interesting thing to see now is whether Cunningham will re-sign with the Indiana Fever.
