Lately, the WNBA is getting attention from all over the world, and especially from the NFL fields. First, it was Caitlin Clark’s involvement with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Now it has come to Sophie Cunningham.
While Cunningham earlier spilled the beans on Kelce’s appearance at one of the Indiana Fever games, she now has something to say about the NFL superstar’s age.
Recently, during a podcast appearance, the Fever guard was described him as “pretty old for football.”

Sophie Cunningham Had No Idea About Travis Kelce’s Age
While Clark has been mostly around the power couple, Cunningham had the Chiefs as the favorite for the Super Bowl.
However, recently, she was in a little shock after realizing Kelce is 36, a number she said felt “old” for someone playing in the NFL.
“Travis is 36? That is pretty old for football. I was thinking 30, 31, or 32 would be pretty old for football,” she said on the podcast.

However, she did not mean to disrespect. Rather, it was a genuine expression of surprise. She said she had imagined the tight end to be in his early thirties and acknowledged that she didn’t expect him to be that age and still performing at the top level.
Sophie Cunningham Had Two Words For Kansas City Chiefs’ Declining Legacy
Beyond just Kelce’s age, Cunningham also weighed in on what she perceives as a shift in the legacy of the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Fever star suggested that signs of decline are becoming more apparent for the franchise, hinting that the dominance of recent years might be fading.
“If you don’t replace it, everyone knows what you’re lacking,” she added.
Cunningham expressed skepticism about whether the Chiefs could maintain their high standards with their aging core.
