Sophie Cunningham’s having quite the year with the Indiana Fever. Traded from the Phoenix Mercury this offseason, the 28-year-old guard has become a fan favorite. She did all that could be on a WNBA player’s wishlist for a dream season.
She hooped, she fought on the court, and now, she is off to a great career venture with a podcast. On July 30, 2025, Sophie launched a podcast called Show Me Something with her childhood buddy, Summer House star West Wilson. However, she interestingly hinted that she might get cancelled. Let’s find out how.
Sophie Cunningham Fears Cancellation Of Her Podcast
With the Fever at 14-12, sitting sixth in the WNBA standings, they’re scrapping for a playoff spot despite Clark missing half the season. Sophie’s been a key piece, but now she’s looking for an alternative career to win over fans, all over again.
Cunningham’s show, part of Colin Cowherd’s The Volume network, kicked off Wednesday, promising spicy takes on sports, pop culture, and more. But it’s Sophie’s cheeky warning that she might get her into trouble.
This new gig with Wilson, a Bravo reality star from their hometown in Missouri, is all about keeping it real, and maybe a little too real.
“We’re lighthearted, but our love language is s*** talking,” Sophie said via PEOPLE.

Additionally, keeping real about the way she will be handling the openness on her show, Cunningham jokingly predicted she might “get canceled real fast.”
However, Sophie’s no stranger to speaking her mind. The WNBA recently fined her $500 for a TikTok ripping refs, but that’s what makes her podcast so exciting. It’s safe to say there will be a lot of bold takes coming our way as her episodes hit the internet.
Sophie Cunningham Playing Extra Role In Caitlin Clark’s Absence
With the Fever facing the Mercury on July 30, Sophie’s got her hands full on the court. She’s hitting 40% from three and averaging 1.0 steals while protecting Clark from rough play. But her off-court star is rising fast, and not everyone’s thrilled.

However, on the court, Sophie’s been a rock for the Fever, chipping in 7.5 points and 3.9 rebounds a game. She’s helped keep the sixth-place team in the playoff race, even with Clark out for half the season.
