The NFL season is still fresh, and teams are getting into the groove for the season standings. However, based on the current standings, the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, and Seattle Seahawks are off to a solid start to the season.
Sophie Cunningham, though, picks the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs as favorites to win the title this season. Recently, the Fever star was at the Annika LPGA Pro-Am golf event, where she served as a caddie for Caitlin Clark.
While she had fun at the event, Cunningham joked about staying in Caitlin Clark’s LPGA Pro-Am crew for a long time. Quickly attending the podcast early in the morning, the versatile forward answered some fan questions, which included predictions for the NFL and NBA champions.

Midway through the podcast, during a fan question session, a fan asked the Fever forward and co-host West Wilson their predictions for the NBA and NFL Champions. While the former Mercury player admitted it’s too early to call for the winners, but picked OKC as NBA champions, considering their age and hunger for going back-to-back.
As for the NFL championship, she picked the Kansas City Chiefs, despite their recent struggles. Cunningham had one word answer for the question “Chiefs!!!”

Although the hosts mentioned that they are biased towards the side, Wilson mentioned that no one can rule out the team that made it to the Super Bowl five times in the last six years, and they would pick up the pace when needed.

During the podcast, the 29-year-old revealed one secret, which could be a warning sign for her future husband – not to propose to her at a sporting event. She mentioned that she would punch the guy in the nose and leave. Knowing the ‘Sassy Sophie’, no one would want to bet against that.
“I swear, if anyone were to ever propose to me at any sporting event, I would punch them in the nose and I would leave. I think it’s gross. There’s no way in hell. If someone were to ever do that to me, actually, they wouldn’t do that because I wouldn’t be getting proposed to, cause they would know I would not want that,” Cunningham said.
Earlier, in one of her episodes, Cunningham revealed a preference for older partners in her personal dating rules, and now she discussed what not to do when proposing to her. The podcast could be a massive guideline for many hopefuls.
