The Indiana Fever gave a tough fight to the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinal of the WNBA 2025 season. Everyone was impressed by the team’s performances, praising the injury-hit team for their efforts. Sophie Cunningham also hyped up the Indiana Fever for forcing Game 5 despite all the limitations. But the forward is not only limiting her support and encouragement for the WNBA.
In the men’s division, OKC also impressed basketball lovers as the side won the title in the 2025 season. Jalen Williams shared a post ahead of the new season, and the Fever player reacted to the same.

The fever-mania continued to rule the WNBA, with fans showing love and support to the team even without superstar Caitlin Clark in the lineup. The players also responded well, putting up an excellent show for their fans. CC was not totally ruled out, though. She, along with her ‘bench mob, continued to impact the games and fan bases from the sidelines.

Another member of the ‘bench mob’, Sophie Cunningham, was seen giving instructions to Lexie Hull on the sidelines as everyone was involved in the games. Now, after the Fever’s exit, the attention shifted to the upcoming NBA season, and the 29-year-old star showed her support for Jalen Williams.
The OKC forward won the NBA championship in the 2025 season and is now preparing for the upcoming season. Entering into his fourth season, Williams wrote, “I don’t know if I’m chasing success, or running from failure…”

Williams had the best season of his career with 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. While Williams’ team defeated the Indiana Pacers in the finals, the reason for Cunningham’s support was obvious – J-dub’s support for the Fever forward. During a live stream in July 2025, Cunningham faced numerous negative comments as she settled in with the Fever team. Williams stepped up for the former Mercury player and showed his support at the time.
Sophie Cunningham Warns WNBA For 2026 Season
The Indiana Fever’s elimination from the semifinal brought mixed feelings for the Indiana players. They felt bad about losing the knockout game, but were proud of their season’s performance and run to the semifinals. The former Baylor player was upbeat, though, as she warned the league for the upcoming seasons.
Sharing a team photo from the locker room, the star wrote, “You better believe we are coming for EVERYBODY next season.”

The team suffered several injuries and had to miss five players for the playoffs, including Cunningham. The 2019 draft pick played in 30 games and averaged nine points and four rebounds. She had career-high numbers in accuracy and was a key member of Stephanie White’s rotation.
