For the uninitiated, here’s a quick recap of what exactly happened. At the end of the third quarter, Hopkins successfully caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Jackson. Sophie Cunningham Issues Bold Statement On Angel Reese
Angel Reese took the WNBA realm by storm when she criticized the Chicago Sky heavily. Putting the blame on her teammates, Reese asked Sky to add some quality athletes to the roster for a better performance next season. Now, while the Sky has had a dismal season this year, her fellow mates did not take such a public outburst well. Commenting on the matter, Cunningham stated that despite feeling frustrated, Reese should have put her team’s sentiments first.

“No, that’s not great. I get when you’re losing and it’s been a frustrating season, everyone is feeling those emotions. And when I say everyone, it’s not just her. I’m sure her teammates feel it, her coaches feel it, the organization, the fans — literally everyone feels that. There’s some things that you can’t say. I think one of my biggest things is I’m a very team-first person. I always put the team before my feelings, and I think that should be a standard,” Cunningham said.
Surely, Reese seems to lack support. Moreover, with rumors of her being traded in the summer, it remains to be seen what happens next.
